Some other things we believe are worth mentioning.

  • The distant views are constantly changing with magnificent and stunning susnsets, sunrises and reflection of the clouds. On clear nights, the stars are sensational and the moon reflects shadows onto the hills and the countryside.

  • The accommodation is for the exclusive use of guests. The conservatory, music room/lounge, and dining hall are spacious and comfortable.

  • We accommodate up to four guests, which means that the space, luxury, tranquillity and hospitality can be fully enjoyed in an exclusive way.

  • The dining hall is wonderful and spacious. The large table (12 ft) (3.65m) long is a magnificent centre piece on which to have breakfast and an evening meal.

  • Breakfasts are served at times to suit guests, which is very much appreciated.

  • Superb home cooked food. Menus can be discussed with guests in advance to suit their preferences and dietery needs.

  • The bathrooms always receive lots of excellent comments. The bathroom floor tiles, wall tiles and fittings are of a high standard. There is plenty of space, natural light from a large window and exceptional illumination.

  • The showers are large with excellent mains water pressure - invigorating after a day out. The bath is separate to the shower.

  • Drying and ironing facilities are available.

  • We extend a friendly welcome to guests and serve complimentary tea on arrival.

  • Tea in the courtyard is most relaxing surrounded by plants, water and fountains.

  • The library has a wide selection of books to suit all tastes during their visit.
