Castell Henllys is an inland Iron Age Fort dating to around 600 BC. The fort has had roundhouses and other buildings reconstructed on their original, archaeologically excavated foundations. The fort lies within twelve hectares of beautiful woodland and river meadows in the north of the Pembrokeshire National Park.
The Visitor Centre is set in the valley beneath the hill fort and includes a gift shop, interactive exhibitions and a café.
Castell Henllys is owned and managed by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and is about 4 minutes drive from Ael y Bryn on the A487 leading towards Newport and Fishguard.
