Terms and Conditions

Accommodation

• Prices are per room, per night, and include bed and a full cooked breakfast.
• We regret that we do not have family rooms and cannot accommodate children under the age of 16.
• We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.
• Your room will be ready from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival. If you wish to arrive earlier to park your vehicle or drop off luggage, please let us know in advance.
• Please let us know if you expect to arrive after 8:00 pm.
• Occasionally, we are unable to offer evening meals. If you require an evening meal on arrival or on specific days during your stay, please contact us to check availability before booking.
• Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirements, food allergies, or foods that need to be avoided.
• Please make us aware of any other special requirements at the time of booking.
• Ael y Bryn is a completely non-smoking establishment.

Payment Details

• To confirm your booking, we require a minimum deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night's accommodation.
• All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
• Unless you are booking online, please ensure that the deposit reaches us within 10 days of making the booking.
• We will send you a letter or email confirming your booking.
• The balance is due on departure.
• If you are staying for one night, we require the full cost in advance.
• We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept payment by cash or personal cheque.
• Please make cheques payable to Ael y Bryn.

Cancellation and Insurance

Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you have paid is non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Wherever possible, cancellations should be made to us in writing.

• If you cancel more than 7 days before your arrival date, you will not be liable for the outstanding balance.
• If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, you will be liable for the full booking amount.
• If you do not cancel but fail to arrive for all or part of the period booked, or leave the accommodation prematurely, you will still be charged the full booking amount.
• By providing your card details at the time of making the deposit, you authorise us to charge the card for any outstanding balance due and payable to us.

For this reason, we recommend that you take out appropriate cancellation insurance to protect you against having to pay the full amount should you need to cancel your booking.

Non-Availability

If we are forced to cancel your booking for reasons outside our control, we will give you as much notice of the cancellation as is reasonably possible.

We will refund all monies paid by you in respect of the accommodation. Our liability in respect of such cancellation will not extend beyond this refund, subject to any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Departure

Rooms must be vacated and the bill settled by 10:00 am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise arranged with us in advance.

Should you wish to leave luggage at the property or park your vehicle after your departure time, please let us know in advance so that we can discuss arrangements with you.

Liability

All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or illness sustained by our guests or members of their party, or for damage to or loss of their vehicles or belongings, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of their personal belongings and vehicles during their stay.

General

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information published on our website is accurate and up to date.

However, we do not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserve the right at any time to update or amend the information published on our website.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or protections you may have under applicable law.
